Does such a thing exist?

I'm looking for a DAC that can play music from my computer via Ethernet connection. And I need the DAC to also accept DSD from my modded Oppo player.

Yes, it's early days, not mainstream yet. There are a few, Linn has such a solution.

Ethernet/HDBaseT is the future. Ethernet by design doesn't suffer the same limitations as other digital interfaces such as distance degradation and waterfall effect.

Asyncronous USB2.0 while an elegantly convenient interface for PCs and PC streaming, IS NOT BETTER technology.

found this with a google search (merging nadac) with some type of USB adapter?

The NADAC uses Ravenna which is an audio over IP protocol. The adapter is just an Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter because that Macbook air doesn't have an Ethernet port on it.

The newer Soulution DACs (560 & 760) have an ethernet digital input.

Bricasti just released new firmware version 1.32 last Friday, which includes a new feature selection for SyncWide or SyncFine playback on the M1 Special Edition DAC. I haven't heard it myself but the SyncFine setting is reported to offer improved focus and an even more dimensional soundstage.

MSB Dac and Renderer

+1 :)

PS Audio also has an optional board for its DirectStream DAC that will do Ethernet streaming.

And Boulder just announced their new $65k DAC that also has Ethernet built-in, DLNA/UPNP compatible.

PS Audio DirectStream Junior has a built-in ethernet input. Unlike the bigger DirectStream, you don't need to pay for the optional Bridge II board.

There is always the DCS route, both the Rossini, Vivaldi Stack can do this. Also, I think that Lumin has a DAC that will do what you're asking. Mike can answer that one for sure as he knows all things Lumin.

I finally got Devialet's AIR working and I have to say going straight in with ethernet sounds quite a bit better than USB and spdif. iMO
