Connecting laptop via USB to D1 to play music from Soundcloud?

I have just ordered the D1 but at the moment I have a Cambridge CXN which has a type B USB audio in connection on the rear, which I connect to my laptop to sometimes play music from 'Soundcloud'.

On my laptop I have installed the Cambridge USB 2.0 driver.

Will I still be able to connect to the D1 via USB from my laptop and play the audio from 'Soundcloud'?

Lumin S1 / A1 / T1 / D1 does not act as USB DAC, so it does not work this way. It seems Soundcloud on iOS supports AirPlay, so it may be possible to AirPlay from iPad to Lumin.

For controlling the Lumin playback of music files by using a desktop, you can use Linn Kazoo / JRiver / Roon, etc.
