Clear Audio gone wild ......... CES 2017

Yep , they cover plenty ground from Basic to serious , hard to choose really , something for every budget ...
 
I assembled and installed a Clearaudio Innovation Wood turntable, Clearaudio Universal 9" tonearm, and Clearaudio Da Vinci moving coil cartridge in a friend's sound system. It took me several hours to put the turntable pieces together, mount the tonearm and cartridge, and dial in the tonearm and cartridge settings. The Clearaudio Innovation Wood is an amazing turntable. Once the setup was completed and the turntable was connected to the Aesthetix Rhea Signature phono preamp we began our listening session with Diana Krall - The Girl In The Other Room, 200 gram pressing. With no break-in time on the turntable or the Clearaudio Da Vinci cartridge, the sound was astonishing.

The precision engineering and close tolerance of all parts is extreme on this turntable. It is dead silent. The magnetic ceramic bearing and the photo-optic speed control produces a highly stable rotation that is quite evident in the clarity of sustained piano notes. The Clearaudio Innovation Wood turntable with the Clearaudio Universal tonearm is an excellent way to go for vinyl playback. Of course the HRS MXR Reference Series rack didn't hurt the performance, either.
