CES 2014 - Day 3 - Slideshow

It's great to see Mark & Daniel back in the game. Thanks again for allowing us to live vicariously through you, sans the leg cramps, back pains, etc.. It sounds to me like you're ready to pop a couple IBProfin tablets. Just make sure to wash it all down with a few well-deserved drinks! :D

Today I covered the Mirage, the Flamingo and some of the Venetian again.

What were your favorite rooms?
 
I got this incredible pain in my lower right leg on the first day (front of the leg just off to the right side of my right leg) and it just got worse and worse. Today I had a lot of ground to cover. But a couple of Advil's and I'll be fine. I enjoyed it and met some wonderful sharks - including Tom (MtnHam), Nick (veindoc) and others.

I'm now just formulating the "best of" in my head. I would love to do a "worst" list....but not sure. Don't want to hurt any feelings! :)

Sounds like it might be shin splints. You better use one of these for the rest of your time there...

Neither was great to be honest. The Lampizator was a very small room. They were demoing their new DSD DAC but were unable to get DSD files. The Audionet on the CR1's was flat. That being said, show conditions are never ideal.

They were the L5 and L7 PCM dacs with DSD options included. They had the DSD files apparently, but with late arrivals due to bad weather, they couldn't get the server to work in time, so scrapped that idea.

Question for you and Nick Mike:

Is this true?

Someone heard the trinity Dac at CES, was in the same room as the CH precison DAC!

Can you check it out? It would be a rare Trinity Dac sighting in the USA!
 
False alarm....its the Trinity preamp. interesting, but not as interesting as the Dac.
