Audio Note (UK) Kassai

never heard them. did hear this beast awhile back it was a used unit being packed up and sold, but the guys were just listening to it for the last time before it went into the box. so i only heard like 2 songs on it and not from the sweet spot. it was very very nice. not sure how much they cost or really much of anything about it. do you have any info on them??

Mike , the Kassai or Conquest Silver Signature with M6 Line amplifier would be really musical.

yea the guy i bought my hovland preamp from had one of these he just sold and him and his friend were about to pack it up. he also had the kondo integrated that i heard at bobs place at a later date. a couple pairs of really crazy horns, alexias, sophias, and collected old mac tuners had 15 or 20 of them. not to mention all the vac gear you could imagine and alot of other stuff. also a walk in tube closet.lol. was a very eye opening afternoon, i was in a rush but stayed for 5 hours.lol.

I would buy Shindo CCQ/Giscours if I could, but I can't, so I'll probably go for Audio Note Kassai/S6.
just curious why cant you?? are they illegal in florida? lol.

As I understand it, Shindo is a system approach (Shindo amps/preamp with Shindo speakers, Shindo TT, appropriate stand, etc.)
oh i see and now i also remember you saying long run of rca not good.
i think its a warm and cuddly sound, and not really for me. i was hoping for you and a pair of a6000's to get together.lol.

I had a special designed 30 foot RCA Cable. Its dead silent, and I heard no loss vs 3 feet. So...cable isn't an issue.
I like the warm and cuddly sound, but prefer to call it rich and textured.
do tell, i was always scared at running a long rca. i could use one to move my room around and get my gear out of the middle of my speakers.
rich and textured is most 300b's ive heard some more than others, but thats what got me started on the whole 300b quest. i just couldnt get that sound for the money i was willing to spend on other types of tube amps.
on a side note i found a pair of western elec im going to get to hear soon, i cant wait. they are not for sale but i still need to hear them.

You might want to consider one of these. Many people have stopped their search with this amp and they are gold on the resale market if you don't like it.

Steve . This is what I heard today the Conqueror 300B with M2 line with $3 k speakers nothing fancy. But boy that was most musical sound I heard under $13k system.
