Any Thoughts On Decware?

I heard this in my system loaned to me by jeff dorgay. Awesome little amp - drove my esoteric speakers and sounded awesome. Amazing quality and sound for the money...zen tori Mkiii

If I did not already have the MR RM-10 around for many years it would be an amp I would want to hear. Owners seen to be just as fanatical about both.

Wow! How interesting is that?! A Zen tube amp, that just looks nice from what I can see of it. I just checked out their site and they have interesting offerings, but one thing troubles me. No pics! The pics are just one angle and super dark. They need more pics and way better lighting. I want to see these things! Personally, I would not feel comfortable purchasing anything like this that doesn't have at least a couple of pics in different angles with good lighting unless of course I already knew everything about it.

This is Steve's most famous amp and for many people their stopping point.

The Decware Audiophile Tube Amplifier / Model ZEN TORII MKIII

Yeah Jack; I have no doubt...that looks like a fine destination (for me, might not be my only system; but I'd love to have one, based on something from Decware). But I think I'm going to wade-in, with the sweet, little Rachel ;)

Yeah MD; Jack is right. They have a real following. I think the lack of pics, has more to do with being a small, ID-type operation; than trying to keep you in the dark about anything. :)

Ah yes. I just found a whole long info thing on their website. Wow! Nice! The Rachel is not a bad price point at all either (although for someone like myself who has not even heard tube to date, it's a bit too much to start out with, but it fits wonderful for those who want to delve deeper eventually).
I really like that lifetime warranty model, but that's for the advanced students who have grabbed the pebble for the hand (see what I did there)?:)
Really nice stuff!
If I had a yoga studio or fung shui thing going in my place, this would be my choice, hands down! If I ever get into tubes someday though, I may eventually end up with one of these guys. (To start, if I like the tube thing though, I want to go with more of a SteamPunk look). Of course, I'm looking at looks as well, because right now I don't know anything about tubes, but I admit that I am attracted to things that are shiny, light up in blue and have meters.:D

Like I said earlier, if I didn't already have the excellent Music Reference RM-10, the Torii is what I would buy to power the Reynaud Offrande Supremes I plan on buying as soon as I "rebuild" the audio fund. The unexpected $5000 check to replace an HVAC unit before it's time put a temporary dent as well I guess did the purchase of the Wyred preamp, the JOB 225, the Vandersteen Treo's and most recently an Odyssey Audio "Kismet" amp. Wife is understanding and loves music, but even she has "limits." LOL

Wow, the amp looks super nice and expensive..

Decware is only about 45 miles away so I have been over to their annual Zenfest the first weekend in October several times. Last year he was releasing his new integrated and the update to the Tori MKIII. Everything always sounded very good in his listening room. Needs more seating though for the Zenfest.
