Hello everyone,
I am Alex and an audio cable and loudspeaker builder.

I've been working on few bad things in audio that bothered me for a long time such as
1) veil which masks the main sound
2) hard sound which is numbing my ears
3) uneven sound from left and right channels
4) sound stage and images are far behind speakers
5) vague and confused sound images.

I went many audio shows and stores to find answers. And I found all of those hundreds systems (many are world class audio systems) have all those bad qualities. Of course, many those systems sound beautiful and nice, but I wasn't satisfied. Ever since I found that fact, I've been trying to fix on those qualities and my audio system sounds now clear, organic, balanced, forwarded (closer to an original sound), and solid sound stage/images. It is not perfect. I am not done yet.

My simple audio system consists
OPPO BDP-95 (modded by me)
SCL brand 7511A (modded by me, 25watts integrated amp)
Wavetouch V2 speaker
Wavetouch power cord (WTPC), IC, & speaker cables.

Please let me know how you hear the sound in below video.
For better sound, change the video quality setting to 1080p.

Please comment about the sound. It will be very helpful for everyone who heard it!
Thanks!

Welcome and Congratulations!
Great sound you have there.

What I hear in my Sennheiser HD-430 is a clean and resolving sound (it handles complex music very well), with good contrast and timbre (The voice of Antonio Zambujo is very natural). Excellent highs (the violin it´s amazing).
At the distance I feel that you surpassed the problems that you diagnosed in other systems.
Well done! :congrats:

Dear Spock,
Thank you for the kind and detailed feedback!

The tone of sound is very important. The tone is relationship between high (tweeter) and low (woofer) freq. I listened the tone of original songs and duplicate in my speakers with tuning. I am still working on fine tuning for better tone.

My speakers are very easy to fine tune. I apply a small foam on tweeters. The amount of foam changes the tone dramatically. Any BRIGHT sounding speaker with AMT tweeters should try this method. **Use a wooden/plastic stick against a magnet in the tweeter.

*Just put small piece foam on the center. Don't need to cover all metal area.

Every ears are heavily biased. People should record and compare the tone with the original music.
Any questions are welcome.

Hi Ritmo,
Thank you! It's nice to be here.

Probably, the most noticeable difference of my sound system is forwarded sound. My audio sound is still bit laid back to the original music. I can tune it more forward, but bit laid back sound is safer. More forwarded sound without the perfect smooth grainless sound will hurt our ears. My audio system is still almost grainless, and that's why, it can be forwarded.

Please compare forwardness of 3 songs in below video with original music videos.
Some email me that 720p sounds better than 1080p.
