FYI, for those who follow Jim Smith's protocol for setting up speakers, and have a hardwood or tile floor, I found this helpful aid... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
In the past, I created my own "tape ruler" using painters tape and a marker, but this is a lot easier!
Only caveat is to first make sure your starting reference for laying down the tape (wall, etc.) is straight/parallel. Using a laser measure, I found my front wall actually veers back ~1-1/2" from left to right. I ended up dropping a plumb bob from a cross-ceiling truss to establish a true reference for the tape. Once I get my new speakers (ML Expressions) optimally dialed-in, I'll measure their distance to the (uneven) front wall as a backup reference.
