Keeping the plane safe is basically using a good, plane specific service center for the required 'annual' and writing checks. It's the pilot that determines safety rather than the plane.

Started with an '04 new from Duluth, then traded for a 2007 G2 TN which I still fly.
Landed in 48 states and 6 CA provinces. It's been a fun journey. -

Panels look fine; its a nice room.
Better than DSP, IMO. DSP may be the final touch for low freqs that are harder to treat. Speaker placement will mater there also. -

I know very little on room acoustics, but I don't understand how carpet and a sofa are going to affect sub level frequencies.
Appears your issue would be mid range voices getting smudged by...
