Hello veindoc
I'm surprised no one from this group commented about this movie?!? I saw it and was really entertained by the story line not to mention the music was awesome! I immediately came home and ordered the CD and the movie to be delivered as soon as they were released. This is an excellent movie for audiophiles! I wish I could get the soundtrack in vinyl. Re: Whiplash
Another over rated film and performance. These people know nothing about modern big band jazz.
This is the real deal:

Re: Whiplash
JK Simmons had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next. Not too many movies get me that involved and totally anxious while watching.
Miles Teller is also a local to me boy and I really thought he pulled off a decent performance also.
Dan, did you like Birdman? If yes, I can understand why you may not have liked this one. I lasted about 27 minutes into Birdman and had to shut it down before I fell asleep.-----------------
