Focal Sopra
I have two pairs of Focal Sopra's coming. If you're in the Tampa area, you must come and hear them! They are really good, really really good. Maybe a little too good if you know what I mean.

When I listened to the floorsanding model at THE Show I was underwhelmed to say the least. Many possible reasons, of course, but the Stella and the Maestro both sounded excellent in their respective rooms.

Rob - I heard them for several hours at a private audition in Montreal in April. I was VERY impressed - especially for their price point. I've been a big fan of the Utopia series but haven't felt that sound carried over well to their lower priced lines. From the looks of the Sopra I may have had higher than realistic expectations; it's also possible or even likely that the show setup was not optimally done.
