AXPONA Chicago April 24-26, 2015 - Who is going?

A few nights ago I happened to check flight prices and it was $80 less than last time I looked, so I booked it.

I enjoyed 2013 but missed 2014 due to work; looking forward to 2015!

So, who else is going?

The only way I would possibly go this year is if Paul invites me to stay at his place during the show.

And since I won't sit on a picket fence waiting for that invite, I most probably won't be going.

I bought tickets to the show today along with air fare. 2 of my friends are going. I am looking forward to hearing some great gear and having some excellent food and drink.

I would like to see Patricia Barber but there is standing room only tickets available.

I think all the tickets are standing room only. I assume the venue is casual, perhaps a ballroom with high-top tables to stand around? Not sure ...

Well, I swore I wasn't going, just too buried. Then Steve Davis called and pulled a Godfather on me.
Rm 338, teamed up with David Belles (Power Modules) and Viero cables.

I believe SAS members will be repping with badges.
Mike needs to distribute some Shark hats so I can identify members

Nextlevel av will be in room 514 demoing the new Aavik integrated driving the Raidho D3's X3's and MB 2.5's. Lars will be there too. They will have the Ansuz rack with 2 MainzD8's - Diamond cabling and of course the Sparkz and Darkz.

I will be going and meeting a friend from grad school. We've been enthusiasts forever, but were penniless in our twenties when we studied together.

Btw, the astonishing Rhiannon Giddens is playing on the Thursday (23 April) at the Vic Theater in Chicago. I seriously considered arriving on Thursday afternoon so that I could hear her perform.
