    N20, n30sa, mc10

I have an N20 and a DAC that does not accept an external clock. That may change. DAC shopping is a risky task.

The N20 will work with the MC10 regardless of whether or not the DAC does.

Anyone experience adding the MC10 to the N20? Which upgrade would be better now, adding the clock or going to the N30SA? Same question if I get a DAC that accepts an external clock. Are they common? Are they less than $20,000?

FYI, I do not stream and do not plan to go that route. My music is primarily ripped CDs and some hires downloads of music from the 60's-80's.

The MC10 will work brilliantly with the N20 and say an Esoteric K-01XD SE. Then both the Esoteric and N20 clock off the same clock

Another option is take the DAC and clock funds and put it into an MSB DAC which have clock sync options so you clock the aurender off the MSB internal DAC.

    Mike,

I have no use for a CD/SACD player in my system.

Gotcha. We clock the aurender off the MSB DAC. You could do a N-01XD SE with Aurender and Aurender clock. Both benefit.

    SVS PC13 Ultra
Transparent, Analysis Plus & Tributaries. PS Audio filtering
    Sony XBR-75X940D & BDP
    Parasound P6, MBL 8006b, Artisan speakers/subwoofer
